Pet color schemes

I have notices people that have the same pets with different colors. Is this a premium only thing or something I don't get because I don't (censored) with breeding? just wondering because some of them look really unique and cool

A cosmetic pet look with color tinting can be applied by:

1. placing a pet in a Pet Shelter on your island (Pet Shelter can be purchased from the MOS store or player market)
2. adding the desired pet to the placed Pet Shelter
3. Applying a Paint Kit to the Pet Shelter (Paint Kit can be purchased from the MOS store or player market)
4. Set tint (coloring) by right-clicking on the pet in the Pet Shelter
5. Clicking on the Copy look button in the Pet Shelter interface
