One Sentence Guides to Every Skill

Post by Fragerjap »

First of all: it is a sandbox, do what and how you want ;)
But if you need a bit of help — here are some simple tips and great tricks.

Skills are listed in the game’s order, you may want to start with those that do not require recommended captcha investments https://i.imgur.com/0bMMYfX.png.

Accuracy, Strength, Defense, Health
Experience is gained per damage dealt, distributed by selected Fighting Mode (switch between Aggressive, Defensive and Accurate depending on your current needs).
  • First train Strength (more damage = more exp, damage is random between 1(2) and your max hit) and Defense with enchanted 2-hand weapons
  • Upgrade equipment every 10 levels
  • Farm most profitable mobs and sell drops on Market.
Awesome step-by-step equipment guide in one table provided by Ava001 https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/ ... edit#gid=0, and good starting mobs, goal levels and equipment needed in one picture here https://i.imgur.com/PypH3L9.png.
  • Use Combat Analysis on new mobs ...
    • your hit chance should be 100%
    • add Aim via items or train Accuracy levels when your hit chance is below 100%
    • target mobs with chance to hit you lower than 25%, much lower preferably or use lots of fish.
Magic
Experience is gained per cast, random damage from 25% to 100% of current spell is applied on your next hit at current mob
(melee exp is rewarded only for melee portion of such hit, if there was HP left after magic damage part).
  • Buy best spells you can use from NPC/Market up to Blizzards
  • Use simple magic pouches with the highest number of slots
  • Equip items with cooldown reduction, such as staff/cape/robes, if you need faster magic levels more than melee damage and defense.
Archery
Experience is gained per arrow damage dealt.
  • Always wear an archery cape + enchanted shortbow + False Widow/Rubby Kitten pet (look /wiki-family for evolutions) for +% max arrow damage and arrow cooldown reduction
  • Your modified Archery (use chat command /stats to check it) should be higher than mobs' Defense to maximize exp/hr
    • Bow, cape, ench quiver, gloves, Crystal necklace/ring, and pet will provide +Archery
  • New False Widow pet gives +% damage too, but no +Archery, so use it when A>D
(small +% arrow damage bonus may be irrelevant for determining damage range, there are rounding breakpoints here [25-100%*bonus], aim for ..,5 ending decimals)
  • High level strategy: last hit mobs in Towers with a shot, and the bonus exp will go to Archery.
Woodcutting
Cut through starting trees, switching as soon as new ones available because they are sold by NPC and have low value on Market
  • Open in-game /wiki then navigate to Craft -> Skill -> Woodcutting sorted by level 1-19 to find tree names
  • "/find oak", for example, to locate it on map
  • Level 1: Fir until level 10
  • Level 10: Oak until level 20
  • Level 20: Willow until level 55
  • *Level 53-54: Spirit may not worth the hassle of changing spot, but if you need it anyway there is one-click tree in Walco for 135 CL here.
  • Level 55: Blue Palm until level 80
  • Level 80: Magic Oak, but exp/h raises slowly, so go for best log on Market or follow your needs/convenience
    • when using Silvanus Permission, its cost should be cover off with time saved from the short walk to chest
    • however, at ~200k coins per Silvanus Permission, it becomes possible only at higher (100+) levels with potions
    • Silvanus - Illusions Guild gives +10% bonus gather rate starting with Void, which becomes best exp/hr there at boosted level 129
Mining
  • Level 1: Sand in Reval until level 25 is okay exp and good money
  • Level 25: Silver until level 40
  • Level 40: Coal until level 50
  • Level 50: Kaolinite Clay until level 80
  • Level 80: either
    • stay with Kaolinite Clay for exp to level 113
    • move to White Gold and Azurite for coins and more time to AFK
  • Level 113: After Kaolinite Clay, the best exp comes from Fire Stone or Edoylerite with a lot of potions
Fishing
Just fish at best exp/hr fishing spots: Cooking
Just cook your caught fish during x2 exp, typically burning through your lowest level raw fish first, or use one of calculators for best exp/hr (https://forums.mo.ee/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=11237)
  • You may want to use potions at higher levels
  • Try to get co-op bonus around campfire on world 2 Cesis
Farming
Either use best exp seeds or plant for profit in following order (check Buy offers on Market to be sure result costs more than seed+):
  • Level 1: Grass
  • Level 5: Hay
  • Level 7: Wheat
  • Level 25*: Oregano Leaf *(not always worth it--market fluctuates)
  • Level 30*: Old Leaf *(not always worth it--market fluctuates)
  • Level 40: Angel Cotton (great if you are also going to push Alchemy from level 40 past 90)
  • Level 55*: Corn *(not always worth it--market fluctuates)
  • Level 60: Devil Cotton
  • Level 65*: Aconitum *(not always worth it--skippable)
  • Level 66: Flannel Fabric (later seeds depend on Market, while Flannel always in demand)
You may want to use Island Queue https://youtu.be/wAuA0NFR37A.

Alchemy
  • Level 1: either ...
    • use captcha points Alchemy until level 30
    • buy Small Potions of Accuracy from Reval Alchemist NPC, drink them, fill them with water at the well in Reval, buy Green Leaf from the Reval Alchemist NPC, combine 2 Green Leaf with a Small Vial of Water. Drink any potions you craft for the Small Empty Vial. Rinse and repeat until level 30
  • Level 30: start making Empty Vials
    • use Medium Vial Blueprint starting at level 50 to roll most valuable vials first
    • craft Small Vials into Mediums Vials
-- Value of Medium Potion of Berserker reduced. This is no longer accurate as of 2025-03-01 --
  • Level 40: Angel Feather until level 75 to 80 (use Platinum Flints for less cost or Redhodium Flints for better exp)
  • Level 60*: Devil Feather until level 75 to 80 *(more exp alternative, but you'll need Angels in next step)
  • Level 75-80: a couple of great options:
-- Value of Medium Potion of Berserker reduced. This is no longer accurate as of 2025-03-01 --
    • craft Medium Potion of Berserker (good exp and money when sold to NPC)
    • you may buy Walco and Cesis Souls for making Memory teleports
  • Level 94: craft Superior Satan Potion for the rest of time ... while adding in the next two potions over time
  • Level 108: add in Superior Potion of Strength to your crafting rotation
  • Level 112: add in Superior God Potion to your crafting rotation (not valuable; use materials you get from participating in party quests)
Fungiculture
Use Dungeon Ladder placed on your Island to access Island’s Dungeon. Plant mushroom spores in Sawdust after watering Sawdust via a Watering Can (you get two spores from one mushroom using Mortar and Pestle)
  • Level 1: you can skip planting low level ones with captcha to level 10 and recycle Mushrooms from Whiland’s NPC until level 20 to 25
  • Level 20-25: either use best exp spores or try planting for profit checking buy offers on Market
    • Silver
    • Glowing
    • Fire Mushrooms
Forging
Any Furnace interactions are good with Keybindings. For example in Dorpat set both Deposit and Withdraw All inventory items on 'A' .
You'll be able to melt ore with just two keys: D - move to Furnace and use it, A - move to Chest, deposit bars, take new chunks.
Use on screen buttons for mobile or for crafts with more components (look for examples in other skills and experiment, just don't forget to add extra empty Toggle Search row to reset last searched item and don't be afraid to set all needed commands on one button).
  • Level 1: Bronze until level 13 (you can buy tin + copper from NPC)
  • Level 13: craft Bone Helmets
    • buy skulls from NPC in Reval
    • craft near him, repeat, then sell items in Dorpat
    • this method was almost free until patch, now it's -2.2 coins per 1 exp, but still better exp than Steel so choose your own way wisely until you feel like spending money on Azurite Bars (level 90–100)
Wizardry
  • Level 1: either use captcha points or craft Wooden Staff until level 28
    • buy the Fir Logs from Dorpat Carpentry NPC then craft Wooden Staff at anvil. Rinse and repeat.
  • Level 28: craft Earth Missiles at Whiland’s Altar until level 50
    • buy Bamboo from Reval Magician NPC then selling spells to NPC
  • Level 50: continue crafting Earth Missiles in Core of Knowledge until level 100
  • Level 100: Fire Waves in Core of Knowledge
    • buy Flannel from players and sell spells to NPC
  • Level 100: mix in Poison Rain and Blizzard depending on Market demand
Fletching
Buy (player market) or craft Fletching Table (65 Carpentry) to place on Island
  • use on screen Keybindings for one click skilling
    • without premium I recommend to favorite 1st component to 1st chest cell, name 2nd in Keybinding and manually click on the 3rd component before starting hotkey https://i.imgur.com/gFE0UpH.png
  • Arrow Damage depends on metal or gem tip
  • Cooldown depends on wood
  • Feather effect is not useful for training
  • the stack size of Arrows made depends on quality of all components used
Jewelry
Cut Uncut gems you have saved during 2x exp as you get the levels required for them.
  • Level 1: craft Ring Mould until level 5
    • buy the Clay from Jeweler NPCs
  • Level 5: craft Necklace Mould until level 20
    • buy the Clay from Jeweler NPCs and Tin from Dorpat Blacksmith NPC
  • Level 20: craft Flint Mould until level 50
  • Level 50: Kaolinite Flint Mould Box until level ~70
  • Level ~70: a few options depending on where you are with Mining and Alchemy ...
    • craft White Gold Bars then sell the bars to Rakblood Jeweler NPC (or craft WG Necklaces: less exp/hr but more exp/chunk)
    • craft Kaolinite Flint Mould Box [R] (not as good of exp as White Gold, but if you may need Flints for Alchemy)
Breeding
See Breeding : A Guide For Beginners (fandom.com) for a guide on the process.
  • Level 1: captcha to at least 3 or 7 to skip the trouble of needing to gain 100k exp for each Gray/Brown Wolf.
  • Level 3 or 7: Donkey + Donkey (continue until level 83+ with no loss).
  • There are other options, but they come with a cost:
    • Level 25: Flame Wyvern + Flame Wyvern
    • Level 30: Flame Wyvern + Flame Wyvern
    • Level 60: Spiky Dinosaur + Spiky Dinosaur
    • Level 68: Horror Steed + Donkey
    • Level 75: White Horse + Donkey
    • Level 83: Efreet + Efreet
    • Level 88: Underworld Steed + Underworld Steed
    • Level 90: Pegasus + Pegasus
Tip: consider using Keybindings to switch between Nests inside a Fence (I use one key feeding&switching https://i.imgur.com/2Glv4ko.png).

Carpentry
The highest level wood you can craft is always the best exp. Most results get sold to NPC (tables and some floors cost less https://i.imgur.com/5hmhlzB.png), but Cabinets can sell on Market sometimes starting at Blue Palm. Try to pair Carpentry with skill quests to get lots of skill quest points (use the /timer "skill quest" preset to be notified when new skill quests are available).
  • Level 1: Build the Ship extension for your Island during 2x exp
  • Level ~20: Build Cactus Cabinets/Beds/Chairs until level 25
    • buy the Cactus Wood from the Reval Blacksmith NPC
  • Level 25: Build Oak Chair until level 34
    • buy the Oak Log from the Dorpat Carpenter NPC
  • Level 34: Build Oak Cabinet
    • buy the Oak Log from the Dorpat Carpenter NPC
  • Continue upgrading to the next wood as you can, starting with Chairs then switching to Cabinets when you can (consistently best coins/log value)
P.S. Special thanks to Rapota for huge work with guide edits and suggestions!

Hey frager,

Thanks for the great guide.

Just a small note or correction to...
"Bow, quiver, cape, Crystal necklace, Crystal ring, and pet will provide +Archery".

Only an enchanted quiver grants archery bonus.
And also archery gloves give a bonus.

This is amazing frag, especially with the bone helmets on forging. I never would've thought to do that and honestly the exp looks pretty great, I've done worst grinds with wizardry. Thanks for such a great idea.

Great guide, thank you.
Just want to add, that Walco has a cook fire that you only have to move one slot to get to the chest.
Blasphemy is a victimless crime.

Yeah, but the thing is Cesis has the same number of tiles between Campfire and Chest but with a straight line ↔, so it is more comfortable for stops and keybindings.
Although in terms of Bonus from other players for full +3% buff it is indeed better in Walco (less sum of tiles overall), but I rarely see someone cooking there, while Cesis often has cooking party on world 2, maybe more positive scenery?.. =D

Awesome guide, frager! It is standard reading material in EN. But I am not too sure about the recommendation that tells me to wear steel gear in hell. ;-)

Thanks, and any additions or updates are welcome! (Btw, I should update wings sprites...)
Yeah, Hell is a dangerous place indeed, but Nagas are such a bad money compered to Fire Mushrooms and next gear takes a bit longer to get, so for min-max it is possible to farm shrooms there (with 16% chance being hit by Large FM with Def 40 as on image, and even less with enchanted steel set and platinum diamond jewelry Or skill leveling with some cheap gear upgrades on market).
The most trick part is to get there with plenty of food, and not to touch Flame Wyverns near the farm zone.
Though for safety reasons don't, newbies, stay safe in Cesis =P
