If you like coins and mining and a bit of risk, this is a gambit for you:
- Gradually acquire NML junk through buy offers where each item allows 1000+ profit when sold at 40% wiki value. The margin on each item determines your overall profit rate, so to reach 6m/hr aim for 2000+. Items with a margin under 500 are not worth the time to run relative to seeds. Be mindful of tax! New players have a tax free advantage for 14 days, while long term premium players have a 1% tax advantage when making competitive buy offers.
... - Make or buy Memory of War, a potion that teleports you directly to the NML shopkeeper. The potion cost is ~30k each based on lost souls at 5k. Make or buy Superior Potion of Mining. The potion cost is ~25k each, although some alchemists sell below cost.
... - Set up for NML (just boots, pet, pick), drink your mining potion, load in Memory of War, and 60 junk items to sell, assuming you have a 24-slot pet. If you don’t, or your mining level is under 83, stop this guide and come back later!
... - Click on Memory of War (use an alt and/or contact list with frenemies to check all clear)
... - Quickly sell your junk at the shopkeeper using the sell all keybind (repeat), unload pet, bump into shop again to refresh, sell all (repeat). The game has an annoying feature that may require you to click on the first item in your inventory to select it (in the shop window) before beginning to sell. If you were being chased by a PKer on the way to the shop, this is how you lose stuff before it can be sold. Anyway ..
... - Head down to Blood Crystal in the No Man’s Dungeon and mine until your inventory and pet are full. Return to the NML shop to sell for 2k each. Repeat as long as your mining potion lasts, or until you encounter unfamiliar company (seen by one, seen by many).
... - Now mine something else of value that you want to bring back to the chest (redhodium, firestone, platinum, dragonstone, whatever you want depending on your mining level, all of these are mob free in NML and/or NMD and you are already there so take advantage)
... - Return to chest and deposit. Head up to Narwa to sell other loot to the NPCs.
... - Congrats, you are now gone from NML with profit and crazy mining experience before anyone even realized you were there. The blood crystals paid for your mining potion and memory of war in the first load. You may skip memory of war for subsequent runs, but this involves considerable risk that you will be scouted and killed on the way to the shop.
