Guild Thread, questions/comments/suggestions

Postby Rebelmoon » Thu Feb 23, 2017 11:05 pm

So I'm making this thread because with all the guild hype out there we need a place to post thoughts and ideas for this much looked forward to update.

I shall start us off with the question. Will guilds have a maximum player limit? Do you think they should have a limit? What amount should the limit be set to? Please post freely, but keep it on topic and appropriate. Thanks! :D

I think there should me LVL for guild. So with every level guild can invite +3 players.
Then there should be so guild quests for exp for guild.
Guild chest (if there is a problem abou alt`s traiding - lets make guild chest only for craft matterials)

I like alot of what I see there yata :). one thing that popped out though if I understand correctly is the monthly payments of mos/coin to keep guild? if its already 10-20m to create the guild I don't think players should have to also pay real money/coin each month just to keep things available after they purchased the guild. I think what we want is to build communities and rivalries and grind out improvements to gain benefits from working together, not have more rent to pay like real life.

I like the guild members professions interface idea, it can be confusing trying to remember, "was it this person or this person that forges items for free if I give them the materials" as an example. This would also help newer guild members learn about what people enjoy and offer for the guild so they know what skills are available to help with or what level to reach in order to be most effective :).

The ability to make own guild emblem (or pick from set list of them) yes! :D

Guilds have been talked about and debated in these forums for ages.

Many, if not most, people agree that if they are not implemented properly it will cause the end of the game.

1 - guild perks should be available to all guilds and not require massive expenditures to recieve. these perks should be of little consequence. 1% crafting boost or such with a maximum limit of MAYBE 5%. NO increased drop rates. each boost should be purchsed seperately (farming/wc/fishing/cooking/etc)
2 - wars/rewards should only be cosmetic
3 - no guild chests - NO sharing inventories of items. a guild chest should only contain gold to boost a guild
4 - anyone can create a guild for a minimal fee

please search guilds in the forums to see other ideas and contentions.

Most games that have guilds shortly dwindle down to 1 or 2 guilds with most players quitting the game because the competetion creates a P2W or only high level players advance style gaming.

ya pay to win would definitely be a game killer for many, including myself, and would not want to see it happen. guild items should definitely be vanity and not practical for pvp or anything really except possibly guild wars/events
