I hope you will pardon me but as Kaolinite ore and the crafted items are only a boxed set of ring and necklace moulds, adding them to a rare present drop seems to devalue the present considerably. This is also true of any arrow or spell scroll being included. Gear is one thing as it is not used up when you equip it but consumable items, in my opinion, should not be a part of any present, no matter the grade.
If consumable items are to be included in a present, have them in their own, unique present similar to how jewelry items are a part of the Sunken Treasure. A Magic Gift Bag or Archers Gift Bag. Perhaps a Magic Present and an Archers Present would be possible but only armors, weapons and pouches/quivers. Keep regular presents for melee items so Good Magic Present/Good Archers Present, Great Magic Present/Great Archers Present, etc.
As a side note, Sunken Treasure should include the cut gems or at the least Uncut Superior so there is no loss during the crafting process of the gems. It is a serious loss to finally catch a treasure only to fail in making a usable gem from the drop.
To offer this idea again I propose splitting Magic the skill from Sorcery the crafting skill much the same as Archery is the attack skill and Fletching is the crafting side. Using teleports, crafting spells and gear would add to Sorcery and not Magic. To implement this, Sorcery would become equal to your Magic Skill with the initial roll-out. It wouldn't be proper to have a 60 Magic user to have a level 1 Sorcery skill and not be able to craft the spells they can already make.
